Body Shop Customer Relations Coordinator (CRC)
Job Summary
We are looking for a high energy, organized, and empathetic Customer Relations Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive repair experience. You will manage customer communications, coordinate with insurance providers, and ensure our front office runs efficiently while our technicians focus on restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Advocacy: Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and explain the repair process clearly, including insurance claims and timelines.
- Communication Hub: Act as the primary liaison between the customer, the estimators, and the shop floor. Provide regular status updates to customers via phone, email, or text.
- Scheduling: Manage the shop’s schedule for estimates and vehicle drop offs to ensure optimal workflow.
- Administrative Support: Create and maintain digital and physical repair files, process payments (A/R), and ensure all documentation is compliant with insurance requirements.
- Office Management: Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming front office environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience required (automotive or collision repair industry experience is a significant plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a "customer first" attitude.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with shop management systems (CCC ONE) is preferred.
- Organization: Strong ability to multi task in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Requirements: High school diploma or GED; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass pre employment drug screening.
